Description
UNCUT GEM is a fresh amber fragrance inspired by the eau de Cologne worn by master perfumer Maurice Roucel.
A raw jewel. On the skin, the tone is set by a first note luminous with bergamot and mandarin, faceted by ginger and angelica root. Then the core reveals its sensuality at full volume: a warm, leathery blend, combining the nobility of vetiver and incense with the comfort of musk. Warm and intense, the vibrancy of amber woods will last for hours on the skin, without losing any of its power. A scent of character for an uncompromising man.

MAURICE ROUCEL
Maurice Roucel joined Chanel’s laboratory as a chemist in 1973, and since then has been a self-taught perfumer. Although his legendary olfactory style is now characterized for the most part by opulent sensuality – sprung from his preference for musk, white flowers and amber – the precise methodology of his original profession has remained.
