Adeline Mai reinterprets Portrait of a Lady
In partnership with Art Basel Paris, Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle is proud to unveil a unique artistic project titled “Portrait(s) of a Lady”, taking place from October 23th to 25th in an ephemeral gallery at 29 Boulevard de la Tour Maubourg, 7th arrondissement, just steps from the Grand Palais.

Through an intimate and emotional lens.

This exclusive project offers carte blanche to Adeline Mai, a French multidisciplinary artist whose evocative work explores the multiplicity of feminine identity. Through photography, writing, and collage, Mai weaves a poetic and intimate visual language that has been featured in international fashion and art publications. Her work resonates with themes of inner strength, and emotional presence—making her a natural voice for this collaboration. In Portrait(s) of a Lady, Mai presents a curated selection of past and newly created works that unfold a multifaceted tapestry of femininity—plural, introspective, and timeless. Her hybrid, immersive approach mirrors the creative philosophy of Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, where freedom and singularity are the foundation of perfumery as a true art form.
